On September 19, 2009, thousands of surfers and ocean enthusiasts will plant their surfboards in the sand for an historic photo opportunity to be photographed by Transworld Surf Magazine and other national publications.

Rip Curl's Surfboards in the Sand offers a unique opportunity for you or your organization to honor surfing culture and to support the preservation of the Southern California coastal environment. A portion of event proceeds benefits Orange County Coastkeeper and the Surfrider Foundation.

The Orange County Coastkeeper

The Orange County Coastkeeper is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of the marine habitats and watersheds of Orange County through programs of education, restoration, enforcement and advocacy.
