Rip Curl's Surfboards in the Sand was conceived of as an opportunity to honor the surfing culture of Huntington Beach and to support the preservation of the Southern California coastal environment. A portion of the event proceeds benefit Orange County Coastkeeper and The Surfrider Foundation.
